Junior Matt Molinaro competes in 800-meter run at Mt. Sac Relays

ADA — Junior Matt Molinaro (Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLaSalle) posted a strong performance in the 800-meter run at the Mt. Sac Relays on Friday afternoon in Torrance, Cal.

The junior finished fourth overall in the event, and tied his own mark for the fastest time nationally among Div. III athletes.

Molinaro finished the event in 1:49.30 and was within one second of the first place runner.

Northern will be back in action tomorrow as it competes in the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University.
