Gast, Richards, Molinaro to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

ADA — Junior Allsion Gast, sophomores Emily Richards and Matt Molinaro qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships to be held March 11-12 in Grinnell, Iowa.

Gast will compete in the 60-meter hurdles Friday at 2:25 pm (CST), with the finals being held Saturday at 2:15 pm.

She enters the meet ranked 17th nationally with a time of :08.92, holding the school record in the event.

Richards will compete in the 800-meter run Friday at 4:20 pm (CST), with the finals being held Saturday at 3:55 pm.

The sophomore currently holds the fastest time nationally with a time of 2:11.67. She was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Sprinter of the Year and holds the school record in the event.

On the men's side, Molinaro will compete in the 800-meter run Friday at 4:05 pm (CST), with the finals being held Saturday at 3:45 pm.

The Ohio Athletic Conference Distance Runner of the Year enters the meet ranked seventh nationally with a time of 1:52.64.
