COLUMBUS — The men's track and field team finished 13 of 19 teams Saturday at the Rick Meindl Last Call Meet hosted on the campus of Capital University at the Capital Center.
Northern was led in the meet by freshman Spencer Schulze who finished third in the 3,000-meter run, setting a new personal best of 9:08.10.
Sophomore Denorris Turner tied a career best time in the 60-meter dash with a time of :07.16, finishing fifth.
Sophomore Alec Lunney would lead the Polar Bears in the 800-meter run finishing fourth with a season best time of 2:02.07.
In the pole vault, junior Adam Smith also had a career day finishing seventh and tying a season best 3.70 meters.
Sophomore William Wilson finished eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.07 meters.
Sophomore Luke Bogdanovich finished 10th in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.85 meters.
In the weight throw, junior Zane Augustine finished tenth with a pitch of 14.13 meters.
The Polar Bears return to action Saturday as they travel to Marietta for the OAC Indoor Championships.
