Seniors Nathan Rosenbaum and Catie Huber garner strong finishes at the Grand Valley State University Track & Field meet

ALLENDALE (Mich.) — Seniors Nathan Rosenbaum and Catie Huber took part in the Grand Valley State University track and field meet Friday hosted on the campus of Grand Valley State University.

The meet was unscored.

Rosenbaum participated in the 5,000-meter run where he crossed the finish line in 14:58.83 setting a new school record in the event.

The senior broke his previous record of 15:03.91 set in February of last year.

Huber also had a record setting night as she moved into second all-time in ONU history in the 1 mile.

She finished the race in 5:08.78, beating the previous time of 5:09.86 set by Lydia Weaver in 2013.

Ohio Northern's men's and women's track and field teams are in action Saturday as they take part in the All-Ohio meet located in Westerville.
