Junior Tyler Wood named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Junior Tyler Wood (Toledo/St. John's) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 20-26.
This is Wood's fourth career OAC Player of the Week honor and second this season.
Wood earned his 100th career win and went 2-0 in a 7-0 shutout of Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday. He won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Wood is now 101-62 in his career and is the 25th member of ONU's 100-Win Club.
Northern also won the OAC Regular Season title outright for the third consecutive year with the win.
The Polar Bears (11-8 Overall, 3-0 OAC) will be the No. 1 seed in next week's OAC Tournament at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason. ONU will host No. 4-seeded Mount Union May 1 in the OAC Tournament Semifinals at 4 p.m.
