Men's Tennis sweeps all nine courts in 7-0 win at Ohio Wesleyan

GRANVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team posted a 7-0 shutout at Ohio Wesleyan indoors on Saturday.

Junior Tyler Wood (Toledo/St. John's), sophomore Ethan Remy (Lexington) and freshmen Aiden Yeager (Springfield/Northwestern) each went 2-0 to lead the Polar Bears.
Wood won 2-6, 7-5, 10-7 at No. 2 singles and combined with freshman Dylan Catanese (Lexington)to win 6-3 at No. 1 doubles.
Yeager won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Remy won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles and the pair combined to win 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Freshman Nick Miller (Toledo/St. Francis) won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
Sophomore Noah Boyce (Oakwood) won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 5 singles.
Senior Austin Asada (Findlay) won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
Junior Kessler Hackenberger (Tipp City/Tippecanoe) and freshman Noah Ehret (Beavercreek) won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears swept all 9 courts to take the victory.

Catanese leads the Polar Bears thus far this season with a 15-7 singles mark, a 12-7 doubles mark and a 27-14 overall record.
Yeager is second with 13 singles wins and 24 overall victories.
Wood also has a team-best 12 doubles wins.
