Freshman Aiden Yeager named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Aiden Yeager (Springfield/Northwestern) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 9-15.
The recognition comes after picking up nine wins over five matches on Northern's annual spring break trip to Florida.
Yeager won 6-3, 1-6, 10-5 at No. 1 singles in a 5-2 loss to North Central (Ill.) and won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and 6-4 at No. 2 doubles in a 4-3 victory over East Texas Baptist on Monday.
On Tuesday, in a 6-1 victory over Wheaton (Ill.), he posted a 6-3, 6-1 No.1 singles win and a 6-4 No. 2 doubles win.
Yeager then won 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 at No. 1 singles and 6-3 at No. 1 doubles in a 6-1 victory over Connecticut College on Wednesday.
To wrap up the trip, he won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and 6-3 at No. 1 doubles in a 5-2 victory over Anderson (Ind.) on Thursday.
Yeager has a 21-12 overall record, including an 11-9 singles mark and 10-3 doubles record on the season.
The Polar Bears (6-4 Overall) return to action on Saturday when they host Wabash (Ind.) at the Westwood Tennis Center in Lima.
