Freshman Dylan Catanese named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Dylan Catanese (Lexington) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 2-8.

This is his first career Player of the Week honor.

The recognition comes after winning twice to lead the Polar Bears in a tight 4-3 loss to Hope (Mich.) on Friday.

Catanese won 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Catanese leads the Polar Bears thus far this season with a 9-2 singles mark and a 15-5 overall record.

The Polar Bears (1-1 Overall) return to action Friday when they host Asbury (Ky.)
