Men's Tennis: Ohio Northern (1-1 Overall) hosts 2-of-3 Challenge

This Weekend's Preview: Ohio Northern will host the 2-of-3 Challenge tournament Saturday and Sunday at West Campus Courts ... The bracket-style tournament will feature teams of two competing in a doubles match and two singles matches with the side winning two of the three competitions advancing ... Each 2-player team is expected to play three singles and three doubles matches on the weekend ... Ohio Wesleyan, Transylvania (Ky.) and Midway (Ky.) are expected to join ONU in the competition ... Northern is led thus far this season by sophomore Sam Sran, freshman Nicolas Rogel and junior Kavya Desai ... Sran is 9-1 overall, Rogel is 8-1 and Desai is 8-2 ... In singles play Sran is 5-0 and Desai is 5-1 ... Rogel is 4-0 in doubles and Sran close by at 4-1 ... The Polar Bears are currently 16-6 as a team in singles and 10-4 in doubles play.
