Mostowy, Kargl lead Men's Tennis in OAC battle with Mount Union

ALLIANCE -- Senior John Mostowy and freshman Tim Kargl led the Ohio Northern men's tennis team in an 8-1 loss at Mount Union on Saturday at the Peterson Fieldhouse.

The Polar Bears fall to 1-10 overall and are 0-3 in Ohio Athletic Conference action, while the Purple Raiders improve to 10-4, 2-1.

Mostowy and Kargl led Ohio Northern by winning at No. 1 doubles 8-4.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Friday against Berea (Ky.) in the first of four matches at the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason.
