Clark, Herbert, McCluskey and Wilt named Academic All-District in Men's Swimming and Diving by CSC

ADA — Ohio Northern seniors Nathan Clark (Cleaves/Elder) and Selby Wilt (Findlay), junior Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland) and sophomore Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) were named Academic All-District in men's swimming and diving for 2025-26 by the College Sports Communicators.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Swimming and Diving Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this spring.
Clark is now a three-time Academic All-District honoree.
He won the 100 breast at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships this season. He was also part of the 200 free, 200 medley, 400 free and 400 medley relay teams that all earned All-OAC honors.
Clark is ranked 3rd all-time at ONU in the 100 breast, 4th in the 100 fly, 5th in the 200 breast and 6th in the 50 free.
Herbert is revceving Academic All-District accolades for the first time in his career.
He placed second in the 500 free with a time of 4:39.41 and third in the 1650 free at 10:16.07 to earn All-Conference honors in both events. He was also on the 800-yard free relay team that placed third in 6:56.14.
Herbert is ranked third all-time in ONU history in the 500 free, 7th in the 1000 free and 8th in the 1650 free.
McCluskey is a first-time Academic All-District honoree.
He won the 200 fly in 1:55.05 and was second in the 200 free to earn All-OAC kudos in each event. He was also part of the 200 medley relay team that finished second in a school-record time of 1:30.99, as well as the 400 medley and 400 free relay teams that placed second and the 800 free relay team that placed third.
McCluskey is ranked second all-time at ONU in the 200 free, 4th in the 500 free, 4th in the 200 fly, 6th in the 1000 free and 6th in the 1650 free.
Wilt is also a three-time Academic All-District honoree.
Wilt won the 50 free and 100 free OAC titles in :20.70 and :45.25, respectively. He was also on the 200 free, 200 medley, 400 free and 400 medley relay teams that all earned All-OAC accolades.
Wilt holds the ONU record in the 50 free at :20.34 and the 100 free at :45.10. He is also second at ONU in the 100 back at :51.17.
The Polar Bears finished 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the OAC in its first undefeated season in program history under seventh-year head coach Austin Veltman. ONU also won it's 13th OAC Championship title this season.
