Men's Swimming and Diving sweeps Ohio Wesleyan, Bluffton in tri-meet

DELAWARE — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team defeated Ohio Wesleyan and Bluffton in a tri-meet Friday night.

- Senior Selby Wilt (Findlay) won the 50-yard freestyle in :21:47.
- Sophomore Reid Thomas (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) was first in the 500 free in 5:08.
- Senior Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights), sophomore Austin Peace (Eaton), senior Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder), and Wilt were second in the 200 yard medlay relay inf 1:37.
- Freshman Owen Weiss (Strongsville) was first in the 1000 free in 10:48.
- Freshman Braedon McMillen (Westlake) was first in the 1-meter dive with 130.55 points.
- Clark, freshman Kyler Jablonski (Lebanon/Dayton Christian), sophomore Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North), and freshman Isaac Reddy (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) won the 200 free relay.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 13 events, including nine individual races, two diving events and two relays.
- Austin Veltman is 41-20 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
