Men's, Women's Swimming and Diving teams prepare to start 2025-26 campaign in newly remodeled pool

ADA — The Ohio Northern University men's and women's swimming and diving teams are preparing to start a new season in a completely remodeled pool. During the summer of 2025, the university installed a new heating and filter system, replaced all the deck and pool tiles, and painted and relighted the interior facility. The pool will be filled and ready for campus use by the first week of September.

The natatorium was part of the original construction of the King-Horn Sports Center in 1973. ONU has been swimming competitively since the 1989-90 season. The ONU men have won 12 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships and the ONU Women have won 7 OAC Championships.

The 2025 season will begin Saturday, October 18, when Ohio Northern hosts Heidelberg and Bethel (Ind.) in a tri-meet at 11 am.
