Bopple, Clark, Wilt and Verb named Academic All-District in Men's Swimming and Diving for 2024-25 by College Sports Communicators

ADA — Juniors Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights), Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder), Selby Wilt (Findlay) and sophomore Riley Verb (Bluffton) were named Academic All-District in men's swimming and diving for 2024-25 by College Sports Communicators.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Swimming and Diving Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this spring.

Bopple is a first-time Academic All-District honoree. He earned Academic All-OAC accolades in 2024 and has scored 77 OAC Championship points in his career.

Bopple was part of the 400 medley relay team that placed second in the OAC Championships and earned All-OAC accolades this season.

Clark is now a two-time Academic All-District honoree and is an 11-time All-OAC performer, scoring 115.5 points in OAC Championships.

He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 100 breast (three times), 200 free relay (three times), 400 free relay (twice), 400 medley relay (twice) and 200 medley relay in his career.

Wilt is also a two-time Academic All-District honoree, as well as a 12-time All-Conference honoree in his career with 188 OAC Championship points.

He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 50 free (twice), the 100 free (twice), the 200 free relay (three times), the 400 free relay (twice), 400 medley relay and the 200 medley relay (twice) in his career.

Verb is now a first-time Academic All-District honoree. He has scored 70 career OAC Championship points in two years at Ohio Northern.

The Polar Bears finished 5-3 overall in dual meets this season and placed second at the 2025 OAC Championships.
