Men's Soccer to open 2026 season Sept. 1 at Kenyon

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open its 2026 season on Sept. 1 at Kenyon under eighth-year head coach Chris Matejka.
Northern will begin its season with three consecutive road matches.
ONU will also play at Carroll (Wis.) on Sept. 4 and at Carthage (Wis.) on Sept. 6.
Northern will then begin a four-match home stand, beginning Sept. 12 against Hope (Mich.)
Home matches with Ohio Wesleyan on Sept. 16, Rose-Hulman (Ind.) on Sept. 19 and Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) on Sept. 20 precede a road match at Adrian (Mich.) on Sept. 2.
The Polar Bears will return home for four more contests - against Albion (Mich.) on Sept. 26, Kalamazoo (Mich.) on Sept. 27 and Trine (Ind.) Sept. 30 and its Ohio Athletic Conference opener against Marietta on Oct. 3.
ONU will also host Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 10, Muskingum on Oct. 14 and Heidelnerg on Oct. 24 in OAC play.
Road OAC opponents include Wilmington on Oct. 7, Otterbein on Oct. 17, Capital on Oct. 28 and Mount Union on Oct. 31.
Northern wrap up the non-conference portion of its schedule at NCAA Division I foe Wright State on Oct. 20.
The OAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 3-7.
The Polar Bears are coming off their first undefeated season in program history in 2025, posting a 12-0-7 overall record and won the OAC Regular Season title with a 6-0-2 league mark.
