Senior Lucas Hickey named OAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Lucas Hickey (Conroe, Tex./Oak Ridge) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6.

This marks Hickey's third career OAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after he posted two shutouts this week. He had two saves in a 2-0 win at Greenville (Ill.) on Monday, and four saves in a 1-0 win at Marietta on Saturday.

In his career, Hickey now has nine shutouts and 96 saves. 

The Polar Bears (7-2-2 overall, 1-0-0 OAC) return to action on Wednesday when they host Baldwin Wallace (5-4-3 overall, 0-1-0 OAC) at Kerscher Stadium at 7 p.m.
