Senior Alex Bergeron selected to play in USILA Senior All-Star Game

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Alex Bergeron (Grafton, Mass.) has been selected to play in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior All-Star game on Friday, May 22 at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va.
Bergeron joins Ian Roy (2025) and Mitch Groves (2019) as the only three players from Ohio Northern to play in the annual event.
The Division III game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m., followed by the Division I-Division II game at 6:30 p.m.
Bergeron was named First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference this season and is now a two-time First Team All-OAC honoree at defense. He was also named Honorable Mention All-America by USA Lacrosse last season.
Bergeron was second on the team this year with 22 caused turnovers and also had 40 ground balls and two goals for two points.
In his career, he has nine points on six goals and three assists, 91 ground balls and 56 caused turnovers.
The Polar Bears posted a 14-7 overall record this season, including a 7-1 conference mark. ONU won its second consecutive OAC Tournament title and earned the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament, where they made it to the Second Round for the second straight year.
