Sophomore Peyton Lich named OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Peyton Lich (Palmyra, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 23-29.
Lich earned two wins in goal over the week with a 21-6 victory over Otterbein on Wednesday and a 16-5 win over Muskingum on Saturday.
He posted seven saves in just over 49 minutes at Otterbein and had six saves in 57 minutes at Muskingum.
Lich has started in all 11 games for the Polar Bears and has 109 saves for a save percentage of .537 and has a 9.07 GAA. He is ranked third in the OAC in GAA and saves and fourth in save percentage.
This is his fourth time receiving the honor in his career and first this season.
The Polar Bears (6-5 Overall, 3-0 OAC) return to action on Tuesday when they host Heidelberg at Dial-Roberson Stadium at 3 p.m.
