NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team dropped a 20-6 contest at No. 2-ranked Christopher Newport (Va.) to begin spring break action on a warm Sunday afternoon.

- CNU opened the game on a 5-0 run in the first period.
- Sophomore Davis Rice (Vashon, Was.) put the Polar Bears on the score board with goal with 10:10 left in the second period.
- Seniors J.D. Hale (West Chester/Lakota West) added two goals and Mark Mintzlaff (St. Louis, Mo./Country Day) added one goal to cut the lead to 10-4 in the second period.
- Christopher Newport led 15-4 heading into the fourth period.
