Sophomore Cole Zaferakis named OAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Cole Zaferakis (Liverpool, N.Y.) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week of April 26-May 2.
Zaferakis had 10 saves in goal and a save percentage of .625 as ONU clinched the #4 seed in the OAC Tournament and a 6th consecutive winning season in the 6-year history of the program with an 18-6 win over Mount Union on Saturday.
This marks the first time this season and the second time in his career that Zaferakis has won the award.
The Polar Bears (7-5 overall) at the No. 4 seed in this week's OAC Tournament and will host No. 5 seed Mount Union in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
