Sophomore Max Weese named OAC Offensive Player of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Max Weese (Columbus/Hilliard Darby) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week in men's lacrosse for the week of Mar. 12-18.

Weese earned the honor for the first time in his career.

The sophomore set the Ohio Northern school records as he scored eight goals and had nine points in a 22-4 victory over Houghton (N.Y.).

Weese currently has a team-leading 18 goals and 21 points on the season.

The Polar Bears return to action Tuesday evening as they play host to Adrian (Mich.) in a rescheduled contest at 7 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
