Men's Golf finishes 5th at Denison Invitational in regular season finale

GRANVILLE - To cap off the regular season, the Ohio Northern men's golf team powered through 36 holes on Sunday to take 5th place at the Denison Invitational.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 5th of nine teams with a 312-300--612.
- ONU Season Record: 92-19-1.
- Otterbein won, shooting scores of 295-284--579. No. 26-ranked Wittenberg took 2nd, going 292-293--585, while the Denison B-team was 3rd with scores of 306-294--600.

ONU Individuals
- Freshman Zach Butcher (Medina/Highland) took 4th place, shooting a 2-over-par 74-70--144 on the 6559-yard, par-71 course.
- Playing with the C-team, freshman Sam Cramer (Plain City/Alder) tied for 20th place, firing scores of 76-75--151.
- Playing with the C-team, sophomore Dylan Potts (Dublin/Jerome) tied for 23rd place with scores of 79-73--152.
- Sophomore Ian Briars (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) also tied for 23rd, shooting 77-75--152.
- Junior Aashir Patel (Schaumburg, Ill./Conant) finished tied for 25th, firing 76-77--153.
- Playing with the C-team, freshman Brett Bagatti (Medina/Akron Hoban) tied for 34th, going 80-76--156.
Notables
- The participants played all 36 holes on Sunday.
- Patel maintains the team's best 18-hole average at 73.3.
- ONU head coach Chad Bucci is 518-423-17 in his 13th season at the helm of the men's program, a winning percentage of .541.
