Men's Golf posts solid seventh place finish at 17-team Berry (Ga.) Chik-Fil-A Invitational

ROME, Ga. — The Ohio Northern men's golf team posted a solid seventh place finish at the Berry (Ga.) Chik-Fil-A Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 7th of 17 teams at 35-over par 306-291-302—899.
- Berry (Ga.) won the team title with an 860, #25 Southern Virginia was second with an 866 and Covenant (Ga.) was third at 883.

- Junior Aashir Patel (Schaumburg, Ill./Conant) and freshman Sam Cramer (Plain City/Alder) led the Polar Bears by tying for 24th place with 9-over par 225s.
- Senior Bennett Christy (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) was 35th of 98 golfers with a 227.
- Freshman Zach Butcher (Medina/Highland) was 41st with a 228.
- Sophomore Ian Briars (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) was 59th with a 233.
