Junior Evan Dennison named OAC Men's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Junior Evan Dennison (Ashland/Mapleton) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week for the week of March 25-31.

Dennison won Medalist honors with a 3-under par 71-72—143 at the Muskingum Invitational.

He tied for first, then won Medalist honors for the first time in his career with a pr on the first hole.

His 143 broke his previous career low 36-hole score by a full 13 strokes.

Dennison currently ranks second on the team with a 77.4 stroke average for nine rounds.

The Polar Bears will return to action Friday and Saturday when they co-host the Polar Beaver Classic with Bluffton.
