Crouch breaks own 5-game series as Men's Bowling opens 2026 part of schedule Saturday-Sunday at Midwest Collegiate Classic

ADDISON, Ill. — Sophomore Zander Crouch (DeGraff/Riverside) rolled a school record 5-game series to lead the Ohio Northern men's bowling team in its first competition of the 2026 calendar year at the Midwest Collegiate Classic Saturday and Sunday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern was 41st of 68 teams with 7,755 pins for five regular games and 16 baker games.
- Venue: Stardust - Addison, Ill.
- Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ill.) won the team title with 8962 pins, Wisconsin-Whitewater was second with 8947 pins, Mount Mercy (Iowa) was third with 7989 pins and St. Ambrose (Iowa) was fourth with 8677 pins.

- Crouch rolled a school record 1,046 for five games with a high game of 240 to finish 59th overall.
- Sophomore Sam King (DeGraff/Riverside) was 74th with a 1,037.
- Sophomore Jake Manbevers (Greenfield/Miami Trace) was 90th with a 1,013.
Notables
- The Polar Bears were 25th in the team standings after five games on Saturday with a school-record 4,945 pins, averaging 197.8 ppg.
- ONU then had 2,810 pins in its 16 baker games, an average of 175.6 per game.
- Crouch's 1,046 series broke his own record of 1,034 set earlier this season.
- King's 1,037 series is the second-best in Ohio Northern history and is also a career-best.
- Manbeavers' career-best 1,013 series is the fifth-best in school history.
