Iles leads Men's Bowling to 11th place finish at American Heartland Bowling Association II tournament

CANTON, Mich. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team posted an 11th place finish at the American Heartland Bowling Association II tournament on Sunday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern was 11th of 18 teams with 4,666 pins for three regular games and 15 baker games.
- Venue: Super Bowl Lanes - Canton, Mich.
- Lawrence Tech (Mich.) won the team title with 6467 pins, Rochester (Mich.) was second with 6271 pins and Davenport (Mich.) was third with 6022 pins.

- Freshman Tanner Iles (Cincinnati/Oak Hills) led the Polar Bears by finishing 12th overall with a career-best 3-game score of 636 - an average of 212.0 pins per game.
- Sophomore Giovanni Scanio (Corpus Christi, Tex./London) rolled a career-best 602 with a high game of 251.
- Freshman Alex Grant (Mansfield) was 37th overall with a career-best 594 series.
- Sophomore Zander Crouch (DeGraff/Riverside) was 51st with a 551 series and a high game of 194.
