Senior Will Miller named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern Senior Will Miller (Ottoville) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 5-11.

This marks Miller's second career Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after posting his first career double-double with a season-high 27 points and career-high 11 rebounds in an 86-82 win over Heidelberg on Wednesday evening. He also had 15 points and five rebounds in a 73-65 win over Muskingum on Saturday.

Miller leads the team in scoring this season with 14.9 ppg. He also ranks second on the team with 23 steals and third in assists (30) and rebounding (4.4 rpg).

Miller ranks 34th all-time at ONU with 1,092 points in 90 career games. He is also 11th in ONU history with 149 steals, needing just 2 more to break into the top 10.

The Polar Bears (8-6 Overall, 3-2 OAC) return to action on Wednesday at Otterbein at 7 p.m.
