Junior Will Miller named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ADA - Ohio Northern junior Will Miller (Ottoville) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 2-8.
This marks Miller's first career OAC Player of the Week accolade.
The recognition comes after scoring 21 points to go with six rebounds, two assists and a steal to lead the Polar Bears to a 85-84 win over John Carroll in an OAC thriller.
Miller is 19-of-45 on three pointers this season and leads the team with a percentage of 42.2. He is also second on the team in steals (13) and third on the team in rebounds (27), assists (16) and field goal percentage (47.3).
In his career, Miller is 226-of-549 from the floor for 41.2 percent and 86-of-237 from beyond the arc for 36.3 percent. He also has 102 career steals and needs just six more to crack into ONU's top-20 list in that category.
The Polar Bears (6-2 overall, 1-1 OAC) return to action on Saturday at Capital (3-5 overall, 0-2 OAC) at 1 p.m.
