Men's Basketball picked to finish sixth in 24-25 OAC Coaches poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team has been picked to finish sixth in the 2024-25 OAC preseason poll as voted on by league coaches.
Ohio Northern received 41 points in the poll. No. 3-ranked John Carroll was picked as the favorite with 81 points and nine first place votes. No. 19-ranked Mount Union was picked second with 72 points and the final first-place vote, Otterbein was third with 61 points, and Marietta was fourth with 57 points.
Third-year head coach Neal Young welcomes back all five starters and 15 lettermen from last year's team that was 13-12 overall and finished seventh in the OAC with an 8-10 league mark.
The Polar Bear men will open their 2024-25 season Friday and Saturday at the Gettysburg (Pa.) Tip-Off Tournament.
