Men's Basketball picked to finish fourth in 2015-16 OAC Coaches' Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team was picked to finish fourth in the 2015-16 OAC Preseason Poll in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 47 points in the poll.
Mount Union was selected as the preseason favorite with 76 points and five first place votes, Marietta was picked to finish second with 70 points and three first place votes and John Carroll was picked third with 69 points and one first place vote.
Fourth-year ONU head coach Kevin Byrne returns three starters and 16 lettermenfrom last year's squad that went 12-14 overall and finished sixth in the league with an 7-11 record.
Ohio Northern will open its 2015-16 season Nov. 14 at home with Alma (Mich.) at 6 pm in a rare double header with the ONU football team, who hosts Otterbein at 1:30 pm that afternoon.
