Lehman leads list of 10 Polar Bears named All-OAC in Football for 2025; Fries named OAC Coach of the Year

ADA — Ten Ohio Northern football players were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in football for 2025 in voting conducted by the league's nine head coaches.
Junior Quentin Lehman (Dalton) won the Ken Wable Award for the most outstanding offensive lineman and was named First Team All-OAC.
Seniors Louie Blasiole (Mantua/Crestwood), Myles Aldrich (Lima/Shawnee) and Connor Sanders (McGuffey/Upper Scioto Valley) were also named First Team All-Conference.
Fifth-year senior Luke Zebell (Waynesville), seniors A.J. DeSousa (DeBary, Fla./University) and Kameron Cox (Enon/Greenon) and junior Seth Borondy (Bellbrook) all earned Second Team All-OAC honors.
Seniors Sam Feldman (Springboro) and Kolten Berner (Springfield/Northwestern) were all named All-OAC Honorable Mention.
Second-year head coach Andy Fries won the Larry Kehres Award for coach of the year.
Fries has a 13-8 record in his two years at ONU, a winning percentage of .619, and led the Polar Bears to their first postseason appearance since 2015.
Lehman is an Academic All-OAC and Academic All-District honoree.
He started all 11 games at center on the offensive line this season.
In three years at ONU, Lehman has started all 31 career games at center.
Blasiole is now a two-time All-OAC honoree at running back after being named Honorable Mention last season.
He led the team in rushing this season with 1,394 yards on 282 carries and 20 touchdowns. He leads the OAC in rushing touchdowns and is second in rushing yards.
In 30 career games, Blasiole has 2,810 yards on 563 carries and 35 touchdowns. He ranks 8th on the all-time career rushing list at ONU.
Aldrich is also a two-time All-OAC honoree at linebacker after being named Second Team All-Conference last season.
He started all 11 games at linebacker this season and led the team with eight sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, was second on the team with 54 tackles and was third on the team with two interceptions.
In 34 career games at ONU, Aldrich has 183 tackles, 14 sacks, 35.5 TFL, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and three interceptions.
Sanders is a first-time All-OAC honoree and started all 11 games at defensive end this season.
He had 26 tackles, two sacks, six tackles for loss, one forced fumble and three pass breakups on the season.
In two years at ONU, Sanders has played in 21 games and has 54 tackles, eight sacks, 16.5 TFL, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and six pass breakups.
Zebell is earning All-Conference accolades for the first time in his career.
He started in 10 games at nose tackle this season and had 16 tackles and four tackles for loss.
In 24 career games at ONU, Zebell has 31 tackles, 5.5 TFL, two sacks and one interception for seven yards.
DeSousa is also a first-time All-OAC selection.
He started all 11 games at safety this season and had three interceptions, 50 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and four pass breakups.
In 41 career games, DeSousa has 163 tackles, 5.5 TFL, four interceptions for 25 yards and 11 pass breakups.
Cox is also earning All-Conference accolades for the first time in his career.
He started all 11 games at tight end this season and had 19 receptions for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
In 39 career games, Cox has 26 receptions for 226 yards and three touchdowns.
Borondy is a first-time All-OAC selection after starting all 11 games at wide receiver this season.
He leads the team in receiving with 52 receptions for 810 yards and six touchdowns. He is third in the OAC in receiving yards and touchdowns and is fourth in receptions.
Borondy enters his senior season with 69 career receptions for 1,049 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Feldman is a first-time All-OAC selection at quarterback.
He started all 11 games at quarterback and completed 175-of-291 passes for 2,392 yards and 20 touchdowns this season.
In two years at ONU, Feldman has completed 248-of-435 passes for 3,340 yards and 30 touchdowns. He ranks 12th all-time at ONU in passing yards and 9th all-time with a .570 career completion percentage.
Berner is a first-time All-OAC honoree at linebacker.
He was seventh on the tam this season with 35 tackles and was second with 4.5 sacks and 9 TFL. Ha also had two fumbl;e recoveries.
The Polar Bears finished the season 8-3 overall and finished second in the OAC with a 7-1 league mark under Fries. Northern made its fifth postseason appearance in program history in the Opendorse Bowl Series.
