Football picked to finish fifth in 2025 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team was picked to finish fifth in the league in the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Poll.
Northern garnered 40 points in the poll.
Mount Union was selected as the favorite in the OAC for 2025, receiving 64 points and eight first-place votes.
Baldwin Wallace was picked to finish second with 55 points and Marietta was picked third with 49 points and the remaining first place vote.
Coaches do not vote on their own teams in the balloting.
The Polar Bears finished the 2024 season with a 5-5 record and were fifth in the OAC with a 4-5 conference mark.
ONU opens its 2025 season on Sept. 6 at Franklin (Ind.) at 1:30 p.m. second first-year head coach Andy Fries.
