Junior Reed Allen named OAC Special Teams Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Reed Allen was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in ONU's 42-7 victory over Muskingum.

The junior returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown to set the tone early for ONU.

He also returned three punts for 31 yards, including a 28-yard return that set ONU up on a short field.

Allen also caught three passes for 18 yards and a touchdown in the contest. 

The Polar Bears return to action Saturday as they welcome Marietta to Dial-Roberson Stadium at 6 pm.
