Bio
Kade Kolpien is starting his first season as assistant baseball coach at Ohio Northern in 2025-26.
He comes to ONU after one season as a graduate assistant coach at Carson-Newman (Tenn.) in 2025, where he will receive his MBA this August.
Kolpien graduated from Taylor (Ind.) with a bachelor's degree in business management in 2024, where he played five seasons as a catcher and outfielder.
He helped the Trojans win two regular-season conference championships and two conference tournament championships, while also making three regional appearances and an NAIA World Series appearance in 2023.
He has experience working with the World Baseball Academy in his native Fort Wayne, Ind.
He has also served as a kids camp volunteer, helping over 100 kids develop their baseball skills.
