Baseball to open 2025 schedule Feb. 22 with double header against Rose-Hulman (Ind.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern baseball team will open its 2025 season Feb. 22 with a double header against Rose-Hulman (Ind.) at Westfield, Ind., under 14th-year head coach Gene Stechschulte.
Northern will play a 3-game set at Spalding (Ky.) March 1-2 before its annual spring break trip to Florida March 8-16.
ONU will start Ohio Athletic Conference play on March 22 at Baldwin Wallace.
Ohio Northern also has non-conference home games scheduled with Albion (Mich.), Bluffton and Ohio Wesleyan with road trips to Trine (Ind.) and Denison on the non-league schedule.
The Polar Bears' remaining OAC doubleheaders include home matchups with Marietta (March 29), Wilmington (April 9), John Carroll (April 12) and Mount Union (April 26) and road twin-bills at Otterbein (April 1), Muskingum (April 5), Capital (April 18) and Heidelberg (May 3).
The OAC Tournament is slated for May 8-10 at the home of the regular-season champion.
Northern posted a 24-17 overall record, finished fourth in the OAC with an 11-7 mark and placed fourth at the OAC Tournament in 2024.
