Jack Hutchins named OAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern fifth-year senior Jack Hutchins (Bright, Ind./East Central) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 11-17.

The recognition comes after throwing a 2-hit shutout with six strikeouts to lead ONU to a 3-0 win against Loras (Iowa) on Saturday afternoon to improve to 1-2 on the year.

Hutchins was named to all-OAC First Team last year as a senior and this is his first time receiving this honor.

The Polar Bears (6-7 overall) return to action on Thursday against Denison (12-2 overall) at 4 p.m.
