Jenna Bell, Gage Foster named OAC Clyde A. Lamb Scholar-Athlete Award Winners

ADA — Seniors Jenna Bell (Latrobe, Pa.) and Gage Foster (Mason) were named as Ohio Northern's 2025-26 Ohio Athletic Conference Clyde A. Lamb award winners. They were both recognized at the 42nd annual OAC Awards Banquet on Monday, May 11, on the campus of Otterbein University.
The Clyde A. Lamb Awards are named in honor of the man who organized the Department of Health and Physical Education at Ohio Northern in 1929. He served as coach, department chairman and athletics director at ONU from 1929-64.
Criteria for the award include at least two year's participation in an OAC-sponsored sport, senior status, a minimum grade point average of 3.00 and sportsmanlike conduct in a manner that has brought credit to the student- athlete and his/her institution. One male and one female student-athlete from each OAC school earns the award.
Bell plays tennis for the Polar Bears and Foster plays soccer.
Bell is a three-time First Team All-OAC honoree and two-time Academic All-OAC and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. She had a team-high 20 doubles wins and an overall record of 34-25.
In her career at ONU, Bell has a 137-80 overall record. She ranks 10th all-time with her 137 wins.
Foster earned Second Team All-America and Third Team Academic All-America honors and was the OAC Midfielder of the Year for the 2025 season. He is now a three-time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC honoree.
Foster led the Polar Bears this season with 14 points off three goals and a team-high eight assists.
He ended his career with 35 points off nine goals and 17 assists in 62 matches.
