Louie Blasiole, Marisa Alfes named Ohio Northern's Polar Bear of the Month for October

ADA — Seniors Louie Blasiole (Mantua/Crestwood) and Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) were named the Ohio Northern Men's and Women's Polar Bear of the Month for October.

Blasiole leads Ohio Northern's football team in rushing with 1,057 yards on 231 carries with 16 touchdowns. He leads the OAC in carries and touchdowns and is third in rushing yards.

Blasiole is 11th on the all-time career rushing list with 2,473 yards.

Alfes has won Medalist honors four times this season, including twice in the month of October at the Bluffton Fall Classic and the Berry (Ga.) Chick-Fil-A Invitational.

Alfes leads the team with a 76.1 average this season. She has a 79.2 career average which is the second-lowest average all-time in ONU history.
