Did You Know?: Ann Ringler hits for the cycle

Ann (Ringler) Bassitt is the only Ohio Northern Softball player in history to hit for the cycle.

She accomplished the rare feat on April 22, 1995, in a 9-0 victory over Hiram in the second game of a double header sweep at the ONU Softball Field.

Bassitt was a four-year letterwinner in both soccer and softball and was inducted into the Ohio Northern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.
