Women's Outdoor Track & Field finishes tied for 11th place at All-Ohio Championships

DELEWARE --The Ohio Northern outdoor women's track and field team finished tied for 11th place at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
The Polar Bears finished tied with John Carroll, with 27 points.
Mount Union won the meet with 145.50 points, Ohio Wesleyan was second with 98 points and Baldwin Wallace was third with 65 points.
Senior Vicki Moga cleared 1.63 meters (5-4.25), which placed her second.
In the 5,000-meter run, senior Alison Steinbrunner came in second with a time of 17:32.52.
Senior Lydia Weaver came in fourth in the 1,500-meter run, crossing the finish line in 4:48.39.
Sophomore Catie Huber was fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:20.53.
The discus saw junior Raven McLure finish ninth, with a throw of 33.07 meters (108-06).
Sophomore Shannon Hageman finished 10th in the long jump, with a leap of 5.04 meters (16-6.50) and junior Emily Blum was 10th in the triple jump, leaping 10.16 meters (33-4.00).
The 4x400-meter relay team of senior Jordan Buchanan, sophomore Gabrielle Metzner, freshman Brittany Lee and Huber finished 10th in 4:15.08.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday, when they take part in the Kenyon Invitational.
