Men's Soccer named Silver Recipient for NSCAA Ethics/Sportsmanship Award

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team received a Silver Award for team ethics and sportsmanship, given by the National Soccer Collegiate Coaches Association.

The Polar Bears were just one of two Division III teams to win a silver award.

To be eligible, a team must receive zero red cards during the season, which includes both the regular and postseason.

A silver award means that ONU received between one and five yellow cards during their matches this year.

Ohio Northern finished the season with a 25-3-0 record and won their second straight OAC Regular Season Championship and third consecutive OAC Tournament Championship.

The Polar Bears also made their first appearance in the NCAA III Tournament Championship game.
