Sport assignments: Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball
Owen has been at ONU since August of 1984. He graduated in 1976 with a B.S. degree in Education from Ohio University. Owen worked as an athletic trainer at a high school setting before pursuing his Masters of Arts in Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, MI) in 1984. Among Owen's accomplishments in the field of athletic training, he received the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association (OATA) Collegiate Athletic Trainer of the Year Award in 1996. Owen and his wife, Kaye, reside in Lima, Ohio.
