ADA Four menbers of the Ohio Northern women's swimmers and diving team earned At-Large All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as voted upon by the league’s ten faculty representatives.
Sophomore Terri Lynn Shigle (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) earned First Team honors and sophomores Jillian Huber (Glandorf/Ottawa-Glandorf), Katherine Moore (Chicago, Ill./Marian Catholic) and Lacey Shumate (Bucyrus/Colonel Crawford) each earned Honorable mention honors.
Shigle is a pharmacy and biology/pre-med major as well as a member of the ONU swimming and diving and women’s golf teams.
She earned her second straight All-OAC honors in the 1-meter dive with a second place finish at the 2008 OAC Championships.
Huber is an exercise physiology major and a four-time OAC Champion. She won the 200 I.M and the 100 Backstroke titles this season and the 100 Backstroke and 400 Freestyle Relay titles last season.
Moore, a criminal justice major, had another outstanding year in the pool. After winning five OAC Titles as a freshman last season, she claimed three more this season and earned All-OAC honors in three other events.
Shumate, a pharmacy major, also had an standout sophomore season, winning four OAC Title to go along with the six titles she won as a freshman.
