Six pins lift No. 24 Wrestling to 55-0 win over Mount St. Joseph

ADA — The No. 24-ranked Ohio Northern wrestling team earned six pins as a team to earn a 55-0 victory over Mount St. Joseph on Tuesday evening.

Freshman Kurt Mokros (Lewis Center/Olentangy) began the night with a pin to give the Polar Bears a 6-0 lead at the 125 pound weight class.
Sophomore Chase Vanderhorst (Covington) extended the lead to 11-0 after his technical fall victory at 133.
Sophomore Casper Caizzo (Norwalk/St. Paul) won by pin to make it 17-0 at 141.
Sophomore Aaron Turner (Dayton/Butler) extended the Northern lead to 21-0 after his major decision win at 149.
Sophomore Jovanni Greco (Ross) made it 27-0 after his win by pin at 157.
Sophomore Hunter Buckland (Wadsworth) won by technical fall to make it 32-0 at 165.
Freshman Jack Hoffman (Springboro) extended the Orange and Black lead to 38-0 with his victory by pin at 174.
Senior Ajay Locke (Lancaster) won by pin to make it 44-0 at 184.
#5 Sophomore Myles Johnson (Springboro) extened the lead to 49-0 with his technical fall victory at 197.
Freshman Samuel Cruser (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) earned a pin and made it 55-0 at heavyweight.
