Volleyball ranked No. 20 in final regular season AVCA poll

ADA – Ohio Northern is ranked No. 20 in the tenth weekly American Volleyball Coaches Association poll on Tuesday. 

The Polar Bears received 384 points in the poll, 53 than the 331 total points they received when ranked No. 20 in last week's poll. 

ONU was ranked No. 22 in the eighth poll, No. 23 in seventh poll, No. 19 in the sixth poll, No. 17 in the fifth poll, No. 16 in the fourth poll, No. 15 in the third poll, No. 20 in the second poll, No. 18 in the first poll and was No. 19 in the preseason poll.

Northern went 3-0 last week and won its 20th OAC Tournament crown with victories over Marietta, Baldwin Wallace and Muskingum.

Calvin (Mich.) is atop the poll with 1745 points and 68 first place votes, Johnson & Wales (R.I.) is second with 1638 points and two first place votes, and Wittenberg is third with 1593 points.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Thursday at 5:30 pm when they open NCAA Tournament play against No. 18 Wisconsin-Whitewater at the Grand Rapids, Mich., Regional Tournament.
