Saturday's Match Notes: The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will wrap up its regular season with a home match with John Carroll on Saturday ... The start time has been moved up to Noon at University Courts on the ONU campus due to the forecast of rain Saturday afternoon ... ONU can clinch a share of the OAC Regular Season title with a win over JCU ... ONU can earn the #1 seed in next week's OAC Tournament with a victory of 6-3 or greater, or a win by any score and an Otterbein loss to BW on Saturday ... Any other scenario would leave ONU as the #3 seed ... This season, junior Mackenzie Wills leads the team with a 24-3 singles record, a 23-5 doubles record and a 47-8 overall record ... Junior Katie Curry is second in singles play at 22-7 and freshman Olivia Schrager is third at 20-10 ... Wills (130-41 overall) and senior Ashley Ochsenhirt (120-43) have each become members of ONU's 100-Win Club this season ... The Blue Streaks have clinched a share of the OAC regular season title and can win the title outright with a win over ONU ... JCU will be the #1 seed in the OAC Tournament with a win, or a 5-4 loss and an Otterbein victory over BW ... Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 18th season at the helm of the ONU women's tennis program … He currently stands first in coaching victories among all active Ohio college tennis coaches (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA) and is the winningest coach in school history with a 366-97 (.790) record, including a 140-15 (.903) mark against conference competition … He has also coached the program to eight regular season conference crowns and six OAC Tournament titles.
