ONU is coming off four 9-0 victories at the OAC Tennis Fest in Mason against Franciscan, Muskingum, Marietta, and Earlham (Ind.) ... Junior Mackenzie Wills was named the OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week after posting an undefeated 10-0 mark last week, including an 8-0 record at the OAC Tennis Fest ... Freshman Olivia Schrager also compiled an undefeated 8-0 mark during the four-match weekend ... Meanwhile, junior Katie Curry reached the 100 career victories plateau with her 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles against Earlham ... This season, Wills leads the team with a 44-7 overall record, a 22-3 singles mark, and a 22-4 doubles record ... Senior Ashley Ochsenhirt stands second in overall wins at 37-11 and second in doubles wins at 21-4 ... Curry sits second on the team with 20 singles wins and stands second in doubles victories (15) and overall wins (35) ... Wills (127-40 overall), Ochsenhirt (117-42), and Curry (100-46) have each become members of ONU's 100-Win Club this season ... Wills ranks ninth all-time with 65 career singles wins and is tied for ninth with 127 overall career victories at Ohio Northern ... Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 18th season at the helm of the ONU women's tennis program … He currently stands first in coaching victories among all active Ohio college tennis coaches (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA) and is the winningest coach in school history with a 365-96 (.792) record, including a 139-14 (.908) mark against conference competition … He has also coached the program to eight regular season conference crowns and six OAC Tournament titles.
