Sophomore Ashley Ochsenhirt leads the Polar Bears with a 21-3 singles record, including an 15-2 mark at No. 1 singles ... She is also 20-3 in doubles and a team-best 41-6 overall ... Freshman Ola Latala is second with a 19-5 singles record, an 18-2 in doubles mark and is 37-7 overall ... The Polar Bears will wrap up their regular season next Saturday with a match at Capital prior to the OAC Tournament May 2-5 ... The Student Princes enter Friday's match off a 7-2 loss at Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday, snapping a 3-match HU winning streak ... Senior Markilynn Hogle and senior Nikki Millar won at Nos. 1 and 2 singles to lead Heidelberg ... Thus far this season, Millar leads the team with a 7-2 singles mark ... Senior Summer Hunter-Kysor is second in singles play with a 6-3 record and Hogle is third at 5-4.
Series Notes: Ohio Northern leads the series between the two schools by a 41-3 margin ... ONU has won the last 25 meetings, including a 7-2 decision last year in Tiffin.
Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 16th season as head coach of the Polar Bears ... He is the winningest coach in ONU women's tennis history with a 316-82 (.794) record ... Wills has also been named OAC Coach of the Year five times, most recently in 2015.
