Tuesday's Preview: The Ohio Northern wrestling team will wrap up the OAC portion of its 2019-20 schedule with a dual at Muskingum on Tuesday ... The Polar Bears are currently in sixth place in the 8-team OAC, but could finish as high as fourth with a win and losses by Heidelberg and Otterbein on Tuesday ... Northern would finish tied for sixth with Muskingum with a loss to the Muskies ... ONU is coming off a 5th place finish at the 110team Baldwin Wallace Invitational on Saturday ... Junior Schuyler Caprella placed second in the 157-pound weight class to lead Ohio Northern ... Freshman Chase Sumner (#16 at 149) and senior Jeff Andrews (#20 at 141) are ranked at their respective weight classes in the Jan. 28 D3Wrestle.com rankings ... Thus far this season, Caprella leads the team with a 34-8 record ... Sumner is second at 32-4, senior Seth Transue is third at 31-2 and Andrews (30-12) is fourth ... This marks the first time in school history that four wrestlers have reached the 30-win plateau in a single season ... Junior Cash Thompson is 26-7 and leads the team with 14 pins ... Andrews and Caprella lead the team with 10 tech falls each and Transue and Sumner lead the team with 8 major decisions apiece ... Andrews (92-57) leads all active ONU wrestlers with 92 victories, which ranks him 17 th all-time in ONU history ... Transue (91-41) is tied for 18th all-time in ONU history, while Thompson is 29th all-time with a 81-36 career record ... With his 4-1 record last week, Caprella broke into ONU's top 50 with a 69-48 career mark ... Muskingum has been idle since finishing 33rd of 34 at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational Jan. 31-Feb. 1 ... The Muskies have a 41-18 dual meet victory over Ohio Valley and won by forfeit over OAC foe Wilmington this season.

He sports a 337-241-4 career coaching record in dual action, a winning percentage of .582, making him the all-time winningest coach in program history ... Beaschler was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 and has been named OAC Coach of the Year three times in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
