Miller, McKenzie and Sweet named Academic All-OAC in Softball

ADA -- Senior Michelle Sweet and juniors Carly McKenzie and Christin Miller were named Academic All-OAC in softball, in voting conducted by the league's 10 faculty advisors.
A student-athlete must be sophomore standing, be a varsity member and have a cumulative GPA of at-least 3.50 to be considered for the award.
Sweet, a pharmacy major, batted .250, blasted two homers and drove in 10 runs.
She was named Honorable Mention All-OAC for the first time in her career.
McKenzie played in all 28 games this season and batted .319.
The pharmacy major finished the season with a team high 27 RBI's and was tied for the team lead with five home runs.
Miller led the team with a .412 batting average and led the team with 23 runs scored.
The pharmacy major has a .444 career batting average, which ranks second in program history.
Ohio Northern finished the season with a 13-15 record and went 9-9 in OAC play, which was tied for fifth.
